CERTIFICATE OF NEED UPDATE

Imaging Associates of Providence now holds Certificate of Need permits for both its locations. The Mat-Su Valley office received its C.O.N. permit May 5, 2009; the Anchorage office received its permit earlier, on July 25, 2008.

The Certificate of Need program is a state review process designed to ensure that new medical facilities or services will meet public need, while preventing excessive, unnecessary or duplicative development of facilities or services.
