Imaging Associates welcomes women’s imaging specialist

Anchorage-born radiologist Heather Tauschek, MD recently returned to Alaska to join the women’s imaging team at Alaska Radiology Associates and Imaging Associates of Providence. Tauschek is a board-certified radiologist, fellowship trained in breast imaging.
Tauschek graduated summa cum laude from Seattle Pacific University and went on to complete her medical degree from the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York. She interned at the University of Hawaii Internal Medicine Residency in Honolulu, HI. Dr. Tauschek completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, MO, where she also completed her fellowship training in breast imaging in 2010.
“I’ve always wanted to come back to Anchorage,” says Tauschek. “And I’m honored to be working with the team at Alaska Radiology Associates — and Imaging Associates.”
Tauschek is one of several women’s imaging specialists with ARA and Imaging Associates; others include Dr. Denise Farleigh, Dr. Chris Kottra and Dr. David Moeller.
Among her many interests, Tauschek is an artist whose works include published and exhibited watercolors and a commissioned sculpture for the 2003 “Wild Salmon on Parade” in Anchorage. |
