Transition from Tevas to High Heels: Former rafting manager hired as executive assistant

Formerly a manager of a booming river rafting company in Cooper Landing, Marcelle Young recently joined Imaging Associates of Providence as executive assistant. 

She comes to IAP with several years experience as marketing assistant for an Anchorage consulting firm and is currently working on her MBA at University of Alaska, Anchorage.

Young moved to Alaska in 2004 after earning her bachelor of arts in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara. Today she’s rising in the business world while enjoying hiking, biking and rowing in Alaska.
