Imaging Associates of Providence Donates Full Body MRI Scans to Community Causes

IAP recently donated two full body MRI scans, valued at over $3,300 each, to benefit community causes. The scans were part of silent fundraising auctions for Pacific Northern Academy in Anchorage and the Musher’s Ball in the Valley.

“We’re proud to be a part of both the Anchorage and Valley communities,” says founding radiologist Chakri Inampudi. “A full body MR is not your typical auction item, but to the auction winners it could mean a great deal. And of course participating in community events like this helps everybody win.”

Imaging Associates was a major sponsor of The Musher’s Ball, part of the Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce’s fundraiser during “Iditarod Days.” The ball was held March 3rd at Settlers Bay Lodge and included a silent auction in which Imaging Associates’ donated full body MRI scan was a very popular item.

As a sponsor of the 11th Annual Pacific Northern Academy (PNA) auction, Imaging Associates helped support the school’s largest fundraiser. The auction is a critical component to both the school’s operating budget and scholarship program. Imaging Associates and IAP radiologist Erik Mauer donated a full body MRI scan to the silent auction, sponsored the floral centerpieces and were recognized as a “Star Sponsor.”

Imaging Associates is the only non-hospital choice for patients needing imaging services in the Valley. The company prides itself on offering patients the latest technologies and the highest quality care, all in a comfortable and convenient setting.
