Advanced Technologies. The new LOGIQ E9 from GE Healthcare features Agile Ultrasound, which compensates for different tissue types to produce a more accurate image. In addition, Scan Assistant can reduce patient exam times (by more than 50%) by enabling sonographers to perform multiple actions with a single keystroke. In our South Anchorage office, IAP features the nation’s most popular ultrasound machine, the Acuson Sequoia. Radiologists and sonographers across the country appreciate this system’s outstanding images and consistent image quality.

Experienced Sonographers. Imaging Associates features experienced sonographers who are dedicated to their field and to patient care. Each is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with impressive credentials, multiple registries, and continuing education to keep current with all the latest developments in sonography.

Wide variety of ultrasound exams & procedures. Imaging Associates performs many types of ultrasound studies, specialty exams and invasive procedures. The most common general ultrasound exams are abdomen, pelvic, obstetric, breast and thyroid. Our vascular studies include carotid, venous leg duplex, abdomen duplex and venous reflux studies. A few of our specialty exams are infant hip, spine and pyloric evaluation. Our ultrasound department is also equipped to perform various invasive procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
