As Director of Breast and Women’s Imaging, I would like to welcome you to our Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence. I take great pride in our comprehensive and compassionate approach to breast health. As women, we lead busy lives and your time is valuable which is why we provide necessary pre-cert authorizations, prompt scheduling, timely appointments, and convenient parking at our two locations in Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley. Quality is of utmost importance to us. Your care has been placed in the hands of the only Breast Imaging Center of Excellence in the Mat-Su Valley and one of two in Anchorage; awarded the American College of Radiology’s Gold Standard in Accreditation for the highest level of image quality and safety. Your procedure will be performed using the most advanced imaging techniques and cutting-edge technology to help make the right diagnosis the first time. We have recently introduced contrast enhanced digital mammography, the first and currently the only two facilities to offer this new and important technology in Alaska. Breast services include 3D mammography, contrast mammography, breast MRI, breast ultrasound and minimally-invasive breast biopsies which can be performed all in one location. Breast Imaging can provoke anxiety for many patients which is why we pride ourselves in providing compassionate and timely care. Our Breast Care Coordinators are available to help answer questions and help you navigate the ever changing landscape of breast cancer screening and detection to ensure you receive the best possible care. Your study will be read in-house by a board certified breast imaging sub-specialty radiologist, like myself, to bring you the very best imaging care. Your report and images will be made available to you within two hours of the procedure and findings can be discussed 24hours a day/7 days per week. At Imaging Associates, we take the quality of your imaging and your experience very seriously.
